What is PowerStructure?

  • The name we use for your body’s  most natural upright position.  Also, PowerStructure is a series of specific movements (stretches) designed to lengthen the body’s core and improve posture and balance.


Q: How does it work?

  • By utilizing 7 stretches, 3 times a day your muscles will allow you to gain proper balance in your body.  Most of us develop shortened muscles in the front core due to our normal daily activities.  These shortened front muscles and overextended back muscles are what cause pain in your body.


Q: How long does it take to do PowerStructure?

  • Once you are familiar with the sequence, PowerStructure will take 3-5 minutes, 3 times a day.


Q: How do I learn PowerStructure’s 7 movements?

  • Right now, wellness seminars are offered to employers as an integral part of their corporate wellness programs.  Seminar participants are taught the movements by certified PowerStructure Consultants via a power point presentation.  Each participant receives individual evaluation and also their own PowerCord, instructional DVD, and SpineTime software.  Follow up sessions to measure individual progress are also scheduled.


Q: Do I have to be an athlete to do these movements?

  • Absolutely not.  The stretches are easily adapted to all fitness levels.  Everyone can benefit by doing the stretches on a regular basis.  You will feel and look better as well as improve the way you relate to your work environment.  As with any exercise, it is always a good idea to check  with your doctor before doing any new exercise.
